    Welcome, Guest · RSS 2012-05-16, 8:49 PM
I am a huge Tenimyu fan. It mixes a few of my favorite things together (music, dance, tennis, and the Prince of Tennis) to bring something really interesting onto the stage. For this section, I'm going to take the time and tell you my thoughts on most of the actors that have had roles in the musicals. I will admit that my favorite generation was the second and I even cried the first two times I watched Dream Live 3rd (mainly during Yanagi Kotaro's speech because I admire that boy so much). So, here we go~!

    Yanagi Kotaro
He is by far my favorite Echizen Ryoma ever. It annoys me so much when there's been people who say he can't sing or dance or whatever and they don't even know what happened to him. Before the accident that had happened, Yanagi had an adorable singing voice (and for what happened, he had a decent voice afterwards as well) and he was an amazing dancer. The fact that he pushed himself to continue to be in Tenimyu after everything just amazes me.

    Takigawa Eiji
He was okay...I guess. He just always looks so angry. It's kind of scary. I really can't say that much about Takigawa. Everytime I think about him, I always remember him saying "Atobe" instead of "Eiji" when playing Seigaku Game. Hey, Hyotei wasn't even around during his time playing Tezuka, were they?

    Tsuchiya Yuichi
Ah, Tuti~! I thought he was really funny (because of watching the backstage stuff). He has a really nice voice, and his smile suited the role of Oishi. He was a little strrange, but he was able to keep a smile on my face.

    Kimeru
Now, he has a wonderful voice and I love his music dearly. I just thought he was favored way too much in the musical. It seemed like all the long solos went to him and everything. I'm sorry, Kimeru, I really do like you, but there were better Fuji's. He didn't seem like he had much talent when it came to dancing either. Sorry, sorry, Kimeru. I feel mean saying these things. He seems like a good cook though!

    Ichitaro (Yamazaki Ichitaro)
He's not my favorite Eiji that's for sure. I like his smile though~!

    Aoyama Sota
He made a decent Inui. He didn't have the best voice, but he wasn't terrible.

    Abe Yoshitsugu
I have nothing bad to say about Abe. He was able to go into Taka-san's "burning mode" and out of it pretty easily. I guess he was good enough at the time.

    Moriyama Eiji
He scares me~! I liked him as Momoshiro, and it was so funny whenever Ibu Shinji was around. I still can't believe Moriyama is the voice of Shinji! He has a good voice, he can dance, but, as I said before, he just scares me for some reason.

    Gomoto Naoya
I love Gomoto~! I thought he suited the role of Kaidou, and his personality offstage was very nice. He is one of the few from the first generation that I really, really like.

    Ishibashi Yusuke
Best Horio ever. His voice is so nice when he sings. I just love the solo he was given during the song "Aitsu Koso ga Tennis no Ouji-sama" in Dream Live 3rd. He fit the role perfectly, and he made me actually like Horio.

    Toyonaga Toshiyuki
He is just so adorable. Not only did I like his as Kachiro, I love listening to him sing as Aoi from the anime.

    Hotta Masaru
He was 30 in Dream Live 3rd. When I'm 30, I want to be able to play a little 7th grader. I really have nothing bad to say about this person. He kept me entertained...which is a good thing~!

    Morikawa Jiro
He made me think completely different of Arai. Enough said.

    Nagayama Takashi
The person who took Ichitaro's place as Eiji. Oh, he is just too cute! This boy fit the role of Eiji perfectly, and together with Tuti, they made an awesome Golden Pair.

    Sugawara Takuma
    I don't know...I didn't really like him as Tachibana.

    Konishi Ryosei
He was such an amazing Shinji! I'm sad that he was only in the 1st Dream Live though. I would have loved to see more of him. He has an amazing voice, is nice looking, and he was able to pull off Shinji's personality. Wonderful~!

    Yasuyuki Matsui
I don't remember him making a bad Kamio. It's hard for me to judge him though because it's been awhile since I've watched Remarkable 1st Match Fudomine

    Miyano Mamoru
Miyano playing in Tenimyu just made me smile. I already loved Miyano's voice and everything else, but the fact that he played Ishida on my favorite school's tennis team made me so happy. I would have loved to see how he would have acted as Kamio (I think that would have been funny.). Anyways, he made me like Ishida's character, but, my goodness, Miyano, don't you think you're a little over dramatic at times?

    Takagi Shun
He played a character I didn't know much about in the beginning. Though, being paired up with Miyano made me like Takagi and his character of Sakurai. They made a good team~!

    Endo Yuya
Ah, not my favorite Ryoma, but I do like Endo in a way. His singing skills weren't that great, but he wasn't a terrible dancer. I like him more than I like a lot of the other boys who played Ryoma though. The last picture I saw of him though, on the D-BOYS website...his hair is so ugly. Sorry if that was mean.

    Shiozawa Hidemasa
I don't like Mizuki, but I like Shiozawa. He is kind of cute, and his singing voice is lovely. He can do that really creepy Mizuki laugh too~!

    KENN (Osahi Kenichiro)
KENN plays another character that I don't overly like, but you just can't hate this guy. His voice...it's beautiful! He seems too eat a lot...

    Aoki Kenji
When ever I think of him, I think of the interview from the backstage footage. He said something about being white if I remember right. Thanks for pointing that out, Aoki~!

    Shinoda Mitsuyoshi
He's another one of those people that made me like a character I didn't really care about in the beginning.

    Kato Ryosuke
I love this guy! Then again, I just love the Kisarazu twins. I like him better as Ryou, but that's because I like Ryou more. Actually, I didn't know for a good bit of time that he played both of them. After I found that out, I finally understood some things in Dream Live 4th...then again, I watched Dream Live forth before I was at the part with Rokkaku.

    Matsuoka Yuki (Ohtake Yuki)
Kaneda was actually a character I liked just a little bit, but I like him even more when Matsuoka is playing him~!

    YOH
He's my favorite Tachibana. I really do like him. He seemed to fit the role perfectly fine to me.

    Fujiwara Yuuki
This is the one who I know more as Kamio than the first person. He had Kamio's attitude down just right. I liked watching him as Kamio.

    Shirota Yuu
I dislike Tezuka. I don't dislike Shirota. Shirota has an amazing voice and brought something to Tezuka's character that made me like Tezuka just a little bit.

    Suzuki Hiroki
The mother of Seigaku's tennis team has arrived! No, he didn't have the best voice, but he continued to try, and I don't think his singing was that bad. The thing about Zukki was the fact that he fit the role of Oishi. He seems like such a silly guy too. I was looking on the D-BOYS website at the blog, and it seemed that almost every picture he was in, he had this silly look painted on his face. So cute~!

    Aiba Hiroki
Aiba is the first that I saw to play Fuji. From that first moment I saw his smile to his movements on the stage made me just die a little inside. His voice is so cute when he sings, and he was able to bring out the evil within Fuji's character. By far, Aiba is my favorite actor to have ever played Fuji. Oh, and a random little note...KENN (who plays Fuji Yuuta) is actually older than Aiba.

    Adachi Osamu
No, Adachi wasn't the best out of all of those who played Eiji, but he's just too adorable to hate.

    Araki Hirofumi
He has a lovely voice. I thought he did a good job with the role of Inui. Also, his solo in Dream Live 3rd with "Data wa Uso wo Tsukanai yo" was awesome. He gets points for making Inui seem crazy.

    Kotani Yoshikazu
So...dorky. Don't get me wrong, I adore Kotani, I really do. He just really seems like a dork. Maybe that's good that he played Taka-san then.

    Kaji Masaki
I want to pinch his cheeks. To me, he did a nice job as Momoshiro. He has a really nice voice...and...well, his cheeks look pinchable.

    Kujirai Kousuke
I love Kujirai's voice. It is amazing. To me, he has Kaidou written all over him. His face when he sang just shouted "I'm Kaidou Kaoru; don't mess with me!".

    JURI
He did a great job as Akutsu. He had the attitude and everything. Oh, and I don't want to forget to mention he had an awesome voice as well.

    Wada Masato
Wada played another one of those characters I just don't overly care for. I really like Wada, and he played well as Sengoku's character.

    Kawakubo Yuki
Dan Taichi grew! I don't really like Dan though...I actually want to punch him. He annoys me that much, but I really don't know why. Oh, but I have nothing against Kawakubo. He's just adorable.

    Yazaki Hiroshi
Ah, he plays the forgettable Minami...Yamabuki's tennis team captain. I really don't have much to say about him...

    Hayashi Iori
This is another one of those guys who plays a rather forgettable character. Again, there's not much I can say about him.

    Yanagisawa Takahiko
Even though Yanagisawa played a character who didn't see much action in the manga, I still remember the character of Muromachi better than I do some other characters. I'm going to assume he did a good job with his role. I really don't know because I can't remember much of Muromachi's actual personality.

    Kato Kazuki
Hyotei was always my least favorite school. Atobe was always my least favorite character. I just can't hate Atobe when Kato was playing him. He did a beautiful job as Atobe.

    Saito Takumi
Best Oshitari ever. Saito has this rather sexy voice when he talks and his singing is just wonderful. I would continue on, but I might start fangirling which isn't like me.

    Aoyagi Ruito
Oh, I liked Aoyagi. He was just so adorable. He had the acrobatic part of Mukahi down, and I think he fit the part pretty well.

    Kamakari Kenta
It's people like Kamakari and the others who played Hyotei members that make me like schools and characters I didn't before. I really did enjoy watching Kamakari as Shishido.

    Takuya (Konma Takuya)
Takuya is the first actor from Tenimyu I have ever seen. I remember watching a version of Season where it was just focusing on him. I had downloaded it onto my laptop by accident. It was my first time seeing Tenimyu, and I was very confused. Anyways, I love Takuya as Jirou.

    Washimi Ryo
Kabaji scares me...I want to hug Washimi though. Enough said.

    Date Koji
Now, I've heard some things about Date that I don't know if they're true. Things like him saying that working on Tenimyu was a waste of his time and so on. I read these on video comments on Youtube, so I really don't know if they're true or not. I really can't see him saying those things, but I don't know the guy. I loved him in Tenimyu, and I just wanted to cry along with him whenever he did.

    Kawaai Ryunosuke
Another wonderful choice for actors. He made a great Hiyoshi~!

    Sakurada Dori
He's not the best Ryoma, but he's not the worst. Oh, but Sakurada is a skinny little thing! Though...his singing voice makes me slightly want to rip out my ears. Sorry, Sakurada...

    Minami Keisuke
If I remember right, he wasn't a terrible Tezuka.

    Takiguchi Yukihiro
I believe that he was a good Oishi. Then again, it's been so long since I've seen the 3rd generation.

    Seto Koji
Aw~! I love Seto Koji~! I thought he was an amazing Eiji. He had the perfect smile and attitude for the role. His singing was so cute too.

    Watanabe Koji
I really don't remember Watanade that much. I'm sure he did a good job as Taka-san.

    Nakayama Masei
Again, I don't remember Nakayama that much. I remember a little from Dream Live 4th, and I believe he was a good Inui.

    Takagi Shinpei
I need to go back and watch this generation again. Sorry, Takagi...I don't remember you or your role of Momoshiro very well.

    Yanagishita Tomo
I think Yanagishita was cute. I think he was a little softer than the first two who played Kaidou, but I just can't dislike him. I really can't.

    Kawahara Kazuma
He can tap dance. That's just so cool~! I find Kentaro annoying, but Kawahara is adorable.

    Irei Kanata
Irei is so cool. I like his singing, and he's pretty good looking too. I've always liked Saeki since he fist appeared in the manga, and I think Irei made a pretty darn good Saeki.

    Shindo Gaku
Well, he did the job of kicking Amane whenever he made a stupid pun, so I like him as Kurobane.

    Shiozaki Ire (IRE)
I dislike Amane because I just can't stand puns. IRE is kind of pretty though.

    Ikegami Shoma
Ikegami played one of those characters I just don't take the time to remember. He played the character of Maruhiko. That's about all I can remember about him at this point.

    Hara Masaki
I really haven't been completely disappointed with any of the new Horio's. I don't think any of them will be as good as the first, but Hara wasn't terrible.

    Mori Yuya
I might not remember right, but I believe he did a good job as Kachiro.

    Okamoto Yuki
Okamoto played Katsuo...I'm sure he did a good job with that role too...
