    Cosplaying

I always thought cosplaying looked like fun, but I've only done it once last May (2009). I changed who I was going to cosplay as about five different times. Originally I was going to go as Sasuke from Naruto (I don't like Naruto anymore, and I never liked the character of Sasuke.). Then, I changed and decided I wanted to go as Zexion from Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. In the end, that didn't seem like a good idea. I finally decided I should go as someone from the Prince of Tennis. First, I was thinking Eiji because he's awesome and I would get to yell "Kikumaru Beam" and end some of my sentences with "nya". I decided against it and then though of Shuichi from Gravitation. I didn't like that idea, so I went back to Tenipuri. I had finally decided on Kamio, but it the end didn't have enough time to make his outfit (my sister was going to go as Shinji by force). About a month before my anime convention, I thought of going as Haruhi from Ouran High School Host Club (with my sister as Tamaki). In the end, about three nights before I would leave for the convention, I bought a long sleeved, white shirt, a pair of light blue jeans, and black temporary hair dye (that is finally almost out of my hair). Yes, I wanted so badly to cosplay that I went as L from Death Note. I was hugged randomly and given a CD. Somehow, this made me happy.

Anyways, that's my story about my first time cosplaying. I was disappointed that I didn't go as someone from the Prince of Tennis seeming that it is my favorite manga, anime, and musical. Oh well. This year, I'll for sure goes as Kamio Akira!

    Have you ever cosplayed before?

If you've ever cosplayed as someone from the Prince of Tennis, I would love to see the pictures (or pictures you've taken of PoT cosplayers)! For anyone interested in sharing their PoT cosplaying pictures with the website, please contact me. Go to the contact page and send me a message. Sadly, I have no pictures of my cosplaying (because I failed that badly my first time), but I will share the pictures and videos from the Prince of Tennis panel I went to last year at the anime convention I go to.
