Biography: Amira attended Kanagawa Dai-san Elementary School where she met and befriended Marui Bunta. A year before starting junior high school, she traveled to America where she trained for the summer. She entered Fudomine where she would begin her first year of junior high. During her second year, she met Kamio Akira who introduced her to Ibu Shinji. Kamio and her began to play tennis together, and they soon formed a strong doubles team. Before her 3rd year, she once again traveled to America where she took part in a tennis training camp and stay there for some of the school year. When she arrived back in Japan, she ended up getting the wrong directions and ended up at Seishun Gakuen. Roaming around, she came across the Seigaku tennis team. Being spotted, the team sent Echizen Ryoma to talk to her (due to the fact that she was mumbling in English). She started to talk about how the tennis team seemed strong and that it would be fun to challenge them to a match. Ryoma told her that she was no match for any of them which angered her. Thus, she pointed to those wearing the Seigaku Regular's jacket that she would like to at least try. She won against Kaidou, Momoshiro, Inui, and Oishi easily. Though, she was thrown off by Kikumaru Eiji's acrobatic play, she found herself able to win against him. She lost against Kawamura Takashiro because of his powerful shots. Her wrists just couldn't return them as easily as some could have. All that were left was Fuji Syusuke and Echizen Ryoma (Tezuka had stepped away and didn't know what was going on). Amira decided to take on Fuji where she lost to his Triple Counters. Finally, when she went against Ryoma, her match was stopped by a furious Tezuka. They were tied. Tezuka demanded to know who she was and she finally explained that she was lost and decided that the group seemed like a fun team to play against. Avoiding saying where she was going, she asked Tezuka if he would play against her. He declined and noticed Kamio Akira running up to the tennis courts. It was then that she finally explained that she goes to Fudomine. In the end, Amira continued to go watch Seigaku's practice (when she didn't go to Fudomine's). When Amira met Ryoma outside of their practice, they once again engaged in a tennis match. Amira and Ryoma both decided to play with their dominant hand (Amira had been playing left-handed while Ryoma was playing right-handed). After winning, Amira began to called Ryoma "Samurai Boy" because she knew who his father was. She also grew a disliking for him because she didn't feel as if he knew what tennis was all about. To her, it's not about winning...it's about having fun. - Amira cannot win against anyone who uses powerful shots unless she's playing doubles (because her partner will take them for her). - Amira cannot win against Tezuka and Fuji (and probably others from different schools). - Amira often goes out to karaoke with Kamio. - Amira doesn't know Tachibana very well, but she wishes to play against him one day. - Amira wants to play against Yukimura, Sanada, and Yanagi because she's heard so much about them from Marui.
