Sorry, it's been awhile since I made an entry, but at least I have a lot to say this time around.

On Sunday, May 16th, I got back from my three day long anime convention. I want to share with you all that happened as well as all the pictures that my sister and I took.

On Friday, May 14th, I started the day by getting up early to prepare myself for the day (I had to do my hair and eye make-up since I was cosplaying.). I would like to take some time to explain why I haven't been updating. This past week, I have been dealing with the people at Anime Central (This is the anime convention I go to in May.). I am supposed to be part of a panel, but I had paid for my full, three day badge. Every year before this, they would give you a free badge the next year (panelists are given free, full badges because they're giving something to the con). Now, I've been asking them what's going to happen and they're trying to tell me that I may not even get a free badge next year or a refund even if the panel I'm in is approved. Yesterday, I was looking at the names I had decided on for the characters of one of the stories I will soon write. There are three lead character (two boys and a girl). The first boy is named Seiji and he's going to be the lead character. The second boy is Ryouta. Then, when I looked at the name of the girl, I laughed. Her name is Mikazuki. I didn't notice the name until last night. When I decided on the names, I just used whatever popped out at me first while looking through Japanese names. Mikazuki. Hmm...sounds familiar...Mika...zuki...yes, yes, I've seen that somewhere before. Mika and Zuki...wait! Those names...they...they're what two people go by on Yume no Ouji-sama! Well, I didn't mean for that to happen; I just liked how Mikazuki sounded.

Well, today was a pretty interesting day. I woke up at three in the morning and checked my e-mail (using my cell phone). I was happy to see an e-mail for a review on one of my fanfics. Sadly, instead of the normally nice reviews I get, I received one that almost made me cry (and I never cry). I'm not going to say the details of the review, but it basically made me feel worthless and as if I failed as a writer. It really hurt me because I want to be a novelist. It was a stab in the heart for me.

First, for those who can't read what the title says, テニスの王子様 100曲マラソン means Prince of Tennis 100 songs marathon. It is probably one of the best things I've ever watched. I'm going to post links to it later on in the Tenipuri section because if you like the music from the Prince of Tennis, you'll just love this. So, yes, I will make a playlist of those videos and it'll be easy to find on my Youtube channel (I did not upload these videos though). I will go into more detail later on in the Tenipuri section.
Oh, watching this has also made me realize how fitting Suwabe Junichi is for the role of Atobe.

I was on Youtube trying to find Oishi using his Moon Volley (for reasons you don't really need to know), and I ended up clicking on the English dub. Now I understand why I only watch the Prince of Tennis in Japanese. First, the voices sound so uninterested in what they're talking about. Second, Fuji has this not cute voice (it's too "manly"). Third, they pronounce just about everything wrong. Here are a few that were pronounce wrong: Kikumaru, Seigaku, Inui, Nanjiro, Fudomine, Ishida, Kamio...I'd go on, but this is just too painful! At least Kaidou's English voice actor could pronounce Kaoru. So, I finally took the time to watch Atobe's Gift. That special movie made me have a whole new view of Atobe. There were times when I thought Atobe was okay, but now...now I see the good that he has deep down inside of himself. Oh, but Atobe's Gift also made me love Kamio even more. Kamio running off while yelling "EEE!" just made my day. Though, I thought Kabaji was some sort of weird stalker until the end (Sorry, Kabaji!). I loved how the Kisarazu twins looked during that short concert clip. Was that Taki as well? He looked nice as well. I do wish he was talked about more, he seems like an interesting character (I don't remember him being mention much in the manga.). I have no clue who that guy was that yelled "Change over" though (he was wearing a fuzzy white coat). He must of been one of those characters that was only a part of the anime or something. Okay, so I was watching something on the Tenimyu website. It was like a preview I guess or something like that for The Final Match Rikkai First feat. Shitenhouji. I have only ever liked Yanagi Kotaro as Echizen Ryoma, but it seems like they've finally got someone who isn't half bad. I am talking about Takahashi Ryuuki. Actually, this cast seems very nice. I know that they've played in some other performances, but back when the 4th generation was still around, I just focused on them. Takazaki Shouta and Tsujimoto Yuki (Eiji and Oishi) sound really nice together as well. I'm really looking forward to watching the whole thing.
Of course, Ookawa Genki (Kirihara) and Nakagauchi Masataka (Niou) are still as amazing as ever. Genki still has that crazy smile and facial expressions that just shout Kirihara. Also, Nakaguachi...he's just love. Sadly, the Kirihara alternate Nishimura Mitsuaki doesn't seem as good.

I was recently looking at some websites to buy my cosplay outfit. Now, if I had enough time and the ability to get to my sewing machine, I would just make my outfit myself. Of course, I don't have the ability to do that at this point. Anyways, I was looking at this one website at their pictures of people that have bought their cosplay outfits. I was looking and looking and then I had to stop. There was some standing in a Fudomine outfit. He wore the outfit and had a black hat on backwards.
Why do people think they're cosplaying when they just throw on an outfit they bought? I mean, I've seen this many times before too. People put on a Seigaku outfit and all of a sudden think they are the Prince of Tennis with their long h... Read more »

Tomorrow (January 4th) should be the last real busy day for me. I will finally be able to take the chance to do some massive updating (not only on this website, but with my fics as well). I'm trying to think of all I need to do. For the website, I still need to move the Tenimyu, Tenipuri, cosplaying, games, other websites, and the Prince of the Week sections. Well, the Prince of the Week section is currently called "The Prince" because there aren't enough votes to be changing it once a week. Oh, then there is the Doujinshi section I have to update.
